Country music's sisters Makenna, age 19, and Shelby, age 17, have been blessed to sing on many stages including Lebanon Grand Opry House, Bobby Mackey's, Hwy 50 Brewhouse, The Madison Theater, Taffy's Music Mecca, Tootsies, The Nashville Palace, York Street Cafe and many many more.

Several years ago, Makenna & Shelby’s family moved from Lebanon, Ohio to Los Angeles to pursue their acting and singing careers where Shelby, at age ten, had the wonderful opportunity to open for Brian McKnight in concert at the Sacramento Auditorium. Makenna and Shelby also both sang on the Thugaboo soundtrack for Nickelodeon/Wayans’ Brothers Productions and Shelby, now a high school Junior, appeared on television shows and films such as General Hospital and Blind Luck.

After moving back to Ohio, Makenna & Shelby have dedicated much of their time to working on their music career. Determined to write their own music, Makenna and Shelby taught themselves to play piano and guitar and have a growing repertoire of original songs that are inspired by the sounds of the classics, while boasting new and unique melodies.

Makenna, now a Sophomore at Belmont University in Nashville, & Shelby formed a band of the best young musicians in the tri-state area.  Ben Fisher, band director and lead guitar; Zach Wasson, rhythm guitar; Steve Andrew, bass; Kevin Lyons, drums; and Caleb Dezarn, mandolin and fiddle.

Makenna and Shelby are very blessed to be able to do what they love to do and are thankful for the endless love and support of their family, friends, and fans who have always encouraged them to follow their dreams and never give up.
